HISTORY

Taking flight in the mid-late 90s, Silicon Alley emerged in the neighborhoods of Flatiron and Soho – blending tech, media, and creativity into a distinctly urban startup scene that could only exist in New York.

Early pioneers like DoubleClick and Razorfish paved the way for generational-defining tech leaders that would soon follow: Bitly, Etsy, Datadog, Giphy, Kickstarter, MongoDB, Venmo, and more. Today, Silicon Alley is defined by our uniquely diverse and community-driven culture – an ecosystem that spans every major industry to drive the world forward from art to fashion, finance or healthcare, sports or entertainment.

CELEBRATION

Join us for a vibrant celebration marking 30 Years of Silicon Alley. a milestone honoring the pioneers who launched, and the builders who continue to shape, NYC's distinctive tech industry.

The party ill be hosted in The Seaport, bringing together 1,000+ founders, funders, creatives, and community members for a night of music, mingling, dancing, and surprise moments.

This isn’t just a party—it’s a reunion for the OGs, the builders who came next, and everyone in between, making up the unique identity of New York tech.

THE STORY OF 30+ YEARS...

All guests will receive a limited-edition Zine, edited by Cyndi Stivers with interviews by Brian McCullough, capturing three decades of Silicon Alley history through oral histories and artifacts.

A big thanks to our hosts, contributors, and partners!
